Default Add exploration training to starting areas.

We all know that when we first start the game, we get help tips popping up every 10 seconds about movement, picking up items, partying etc etc etc.

Then also get basic quests which teach us the basics of skills, and other actions.

Would it not be beneficial to add some exploration training to areas like pre-searing, and the starting islands.

Adding an explorer NPC who starts you off at uncovering 10-15% of the map. Which should be easy enough in the starting zones. This would get you introduced to how it works.

Once you accept, a tip box apears and explains how certain areas dont count towards exploration such as underground areas and old areanas. It could also offer advice such as hugging walls and other techniques to better explore.

This would remove the miss-understanding that alot of newbie players have about which areas you need to reveal.

You would then get a reward of somekind once you find that first 10-15%.

The reward could be - placing the markers for res-points and collectors on the map. Something which already happens anyway, but it would now be a reward which starts it.

Then when you reach 60% and the other levels, you return to him and he adds more and more markers to your map as you go.

Eventually at 100% you would have markers for res-points, collectors, chests (estimates), bosses (estimates), certain other NPCs, etc etc.

The interface options would let you turn them off if you want.

I suggest this after reading the threads about adding % marks and the threads about giving rewards from exploring.

This might relieve the need for % marks on set zones if people are better taught about exploring.
